Bio
Christy advises CXO-level executives on technology strategies and operational transformation. He also shapes and leads the delivery of these engagements. Christy brings wide-ranging business and technology experience, as well as transferrable industry insights, particularly from the technology, media and telecommunications (TMT) sectors. In his most recent interim role, Christy was the Director of Technology Strategy and Transformation at a pan-European private-equity asset undergoing a complex business turnaround.
Christy thrives at the intersection of business and technology, exploiting his educational and professional experience, expertise and interests. He has a Bachelor of Science degree from Hobart College in the United States (double-major in Computer Science and Economics, minor in Mathematics.)
His career started on the US East Coast as a solution architect in the educational software industry. He then joined a software unit acquired by Arthur Andersen and eventually transferred to its nascent Business Consulting division. To exploit his 'dot com' consulting experience from the US West Coast, Christy moved to the United Kingdom on an 18-month secondment in 1999. He has called the UK ‘home’ ever since.
After joining Deloitte UK as part of the Arthur Andersen transaction in 2002, Christy became a director in Deloitte’s consulting business, where he specialised in shaping, selling and delivering technology-enabled business transformation engagements. He left Deloitte in 2009 to found and undertake freelance advisory and management consulting assignments with London-based Radbourne Consulting Limited.
Christy has worked with bluechip companies including BT, Cable & Wireless, Digiturk, ONO, Siemens, and Sky as well as marquee law firms, venture capital outfits and private equity companies. He has also advised start-ups and entrepreneurs on a number of innovative ventures.
Christy belongs to associate networks of a number of consultancies, both large and boutique. He often collaborates with these firms and other freelancers to structure and deliver client assignments.
When not melding his interests of business and technology, Christy is likely to be spotted partaking in his passions—on the cricket field (he plays for two London-based clubs) or on his snowboard in the Alps or the Rockies.
